What do YOU want to be when you grow up? uhhhh...Ihop

It is interesting how we ask children "What do you want to be when you grow up?" instead why don't we just say things like "You'd be a great cryptoanalyst your really good at math!". At least then we are giving them ideas as well as a compliment to think about instead of a problem which they have no idea of solving.
